Users also can enable a data fabric with multisystem analytics for the Teradata UDA with Teradata QueryGrid. Weatherford Weatherford International Plc entered a joint initiative agree- ment with IBM to collaborate on the development of new products and services for oil and gas producers that leverage IBM's advanced analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) capa- bilities on the IBM Cloud and further strengthen Weatherford's production optimization technologies and solutions. Through the joint initiative, Weatherford and IBM are developing new analytics products that are based on Weath- erford's extensive production optimization and engineering software platform, SCADA, sensors and controllers. The developments are part of Weatherford's new Reservoir Solutions global business unit, which launched in early 2016 and provides integrated offerings that help its clients lower operating costs and increase production. The core of these integrated offerings is the CygNet SCADA platform, which collects, manages and distributes the complete in- formation stream from both upstream and midstream operations and peripherals. In turn, a newly redesigned production optimi- zation platform integrates surveillance, analysis and optimization functions using modeling engines and data analytics engines. Weatherford's Reservoir Solutions software suite consolidates operations and engineering workfl ows for total fi eld optimization across all well types for any production basin worldwide. Wipro Ltd.
